       There is this guy in my class who sits at the front and does cryptocurrency stuff. Sometimes he trades it, sometimes he manages his wallets or something, and his private keys are on the screen, very conveniently for someone to take a picture of it. I didn't, of course, but I could have if I wanted to.

       I just think it's so weird that these people focus so much on the technical aspects like "oh digital signatures, oh distributed consensus, oh hash functions" yet they put so little thought towards opsec. Like there was a guy who lost all of his apes in a fucking *phishing* scam for christ's sake

       hot take: SQL and relational DBs are actually great, it's just that ORMs and OOP in general sucks. Interacting wjth a DB in a more functional programming way is a lot nicer.
