       Watched the film Babe last night, for the first time in nearly 20 years. I remember it being a classic as a kid, but dear god, it's held up incredibly well.It's a beautiful movie with some very emotional scenes.

       @seanSurprisingly dark in places, too, considering the time it came out in. I guess a few years of worldly experience just makes things hit harder.

       @swashberry Yeah, it hits surprisingly hard at moments. There are scenes where the film covers topics of prejudice, staying in your lane, losing your children, coping with a loss of potential, being mocked for unconventional ideas, and realizing that your kind's stated purpose is to be food, if no other use can be found for you.And yet, it still manages to be light-hearted and beautiful.
