@DeveloperMemes NTP often has to slow down time or speed it up to bring a system back in sync. There are some very time sensitive systems like in scientific computing and stock trading, but otherwise I think the threat is overstated. I've had a whole fleet of systems receiving time from two NTP servers that disagreed about time by over a second. They didnt mind skewing one way or another.

@charims @DeveloperMemes The problem is real but unless you're a scientist, the effects on your daily life are mostly negligible to none... much like Y2K was. Oh it was real, but it was mitigated and the outcome was little to nothing too.
