       @abcdw i've been asking myself whether i should "clutter" my home profile with stuff i sometimes work with (gcc-toolchain, LaTeX packages, etc) or if i should just pack those into manifests and only activate those when i need them.to other people keep their manifests in a centralized location?

       @ruffni There are no perfect solution here and there is not even a best practice yet.For now I only use home profile, system profile and per-project profiles via guix shell + direnv.
