@NGIZero Hi would you consider funding, some disability/accessibility software dev work. I've got a prototype of a reading aide for dyslexic/verbal cognitive disorder/print disabled users in general. Problem is prototype is 10 years old now and would need to target Windows to have the most impact. So the code needs to be updated/ported to C# and other stuffAnd living with a disability myself i've got no extra money to spend on a new docking station for the Windows machine and about a dozen other things i'd need to make this real. I know you guys usually do internet/privacy stuff but is your mission general enough to support this sort of thing.

@piusbird We actually do quite a lot on accessibility and inclusive design; by default we help projects achieve WCAG compliance (or rather, our partners HAN and Accessibility.nl do), and our projects can even get a regular WCAG certification if they want.

@piusbird It is not easy to tell whether your project would be a fit, from just a short description. We would have to know precisely what and how, whether there are other open source projects targeting the same issue (ten years is a lot of time, and there are many people that independently try to solve things), etc. If you are going to research that and write everything down, it more or less boils down to the equivalent of just submitting a proposal... so that would be the best route.

@piusbird Sure, at #NLnet we always have a two month cycle of back to back open calls. This means we will open up a new call when this one closes, with a deadline of October 1st. And the one after that will be December 1st, etc.
