@fediverse @Mastodon If I'm looking at a #pleroma tootbloggs.org/notice/ABC123 by bloggs.org/users/joe that I'd like to boost, and I'm logged in to a mastodon account, and I do not have an account on the pleroma instance bloggs.org, then how can I boost the toot ABC123 by joe?Assumptions: I'm not a follower of joe, and I'm not following anyone who has responded to joe's toot.

@fediverse @Mastodon The following worked for me:(1) I typed the URL of the pleroma toot https://bloggs.org/notice/ABC123into the search box of the mastodon instance that I use(2) This found one of the replies in the thread, on a soapbox-pub instance [1]; (3) I found the original toot on the thread, on that instance, and was allowed to boost using the "two-arrows" button as on mastodon instances, by giving @myuser@instance and returning to my instance as usual.[1] https://gitlab.com/soapbox-pub/soapbox-fe

More elegant solution thanks to @tusooa - an ActivityPub-compatible [2] method using WebFinger [3]!Where MYHOSTNAME is the hostname of your Mastodon instance (e.g. framapiaf.org), and URLOFTOOT is the url of the toot you want to boost/reply to/... (e.g. https://pleroma.org/notice/A1B2C3), you may request your browser to authorise interaction by giving the URL:https://MYHOSTNAME/authorize_interaction?uri=URLOFTOOT[2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Microblogging[3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebFinger@nemobis @fediverse @Mastodon

@boud Don't mention this account. I'm not using it now. Use @tusooa@kazv.moe instead.
