       @dieulast I don't know. I grew up with friends where we went everywhere for years and then I slowly realised that I always had to initiate to join up with them. I stopped contact with them to see if they would talk to me of their own initiative. They didn't and that really coloured my perspective after I spent so much time with them. This has happened multiple times to me now. Everyone is so self-absorbed.

       @Telvannichad Some people have genuine anxiety about reaching out, or are so deep in shit they never have a moment to think that they could initiate contact with someone else. Then there's the type of a fellow who never initiated anything in their lives, inertia is a natural state of their being. It's not just about them, it's just that those kind of thoughts never cross their mind or take root.

       @dieulast It's hard to reconcile with for me. I'd be very happy to have a friend reach to me on his own, it'd be a great surprise for sure but very comforting all the same. Its very bitter for dwell on too much sometimes.

       @Telvannichad @dieulast I never understood this. If they're you're friends and you want to do things with them and they say yes, that is good isn't it?I am an extreme non-initiate. It's not that I don't want to hang with friends, it's that I'm always up to my insane bullshit, I don't think anyone else would want to do my insane bullshit, and I'm always wrapped up in it. I sincerely enjoy when I go the guys and get drunk enough to levitate over walls. But I don't know where to go. I don't care what we do. I really shouldn't plan these things, it tends to end badly

       @TomAltihill  I had to do this all the time tho, they never came to me and asked me to head out with them. It makes you feel like an afterthought to them.
