@ninapaley I eat at good restaurants every week. No masks here in eastern Tennessee. except on the brainwashed. And no fear. I usually cook only at breakfast, though I sometimes fry for lunch. That much cooking is easy, since it's habitual. Somehow, I can eat the same two or three things for years and years, and still like it. Hot sauce rocks!

@nina The info I’ve read about thorium reactors makes them sound safer than uranium. Much shorter half-life, cools off by itself if it loses containment, more plentiful in nature. But only experience with working plants will tell.

@masterofthetiger @benwerd I don’t think government schools should exist. People would be better off not knowing what they teach. Any motivated eight-year-old can learn to read and write in a few months, all alone. The Harry Potters books are good motivation.
