[public]Hello @rigo @bengo Maybe we can talk about a few things about ActivityPub in a short meeting ?I mean, it is just one of many “standards” but a very popular one and I would like to sum up the mood (and level of frustration) from some of the last Group meetings. It is just about a few things.Basically 3 • Documentation about the Reality of the standard • Conformance • ExtensionsWe could play the role of 1 of so many devs who hears the first time about ActivityPub, is skilled and lost.(it will be a user from a few of industrialised privileged and free countries, not so many left and Climate Refugees can code too but have no Internets, just the radio).The lack of Conformance Tests is particularly worrying cause 1 implementation which has many users can bream many things.There is no official extension process but we have 4 drafts and more and more namespaces just documented in the projects.PS: CFP for https://fedi.camp is open https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/fedicamp-2022-call-for-proposals/2510/ @rhiaro

@rigo @sl007 @bengo Sebastian, from my perspective the messages you send me (in sudden bursts of many at a time, over the last couple of years) are a mix of accusations, insults, demands for help, or demands for permission for things I don't have the power to give. I understand the situation is frustrating, and that you have been going through difficult times. I do my best to look past the abusive behaviour you have exhibited around me and others in the Social CG community in the past. I appreciate the efforts you continue to make, but quite simply, I do not have the capacity to engage with the work or the groups you are convening under these conditions. I just barely manage to keep on top of my commitments in groups where people are *not* frequently accusing me of "destroying ActivityPub" or "being paid off by Mastodon" etc. I know others have completely disconnected from this community for similar reasons. I had always hoped to be able to get involved again, but a year on after feedback from members of the community, including attempts at compassionate interventions, as well as warnings and suspension from SocialHub, I see no changes in your behaviour or mode of engagement.I will not be joining any calls with you, and at the moment I do not see a path forward with restablishing regular work of the SocialCG with me as a chair and you as a regular participant. You are free to open a CG of your own to work on the issues you are focussed on, the W3C Community Group platform allows this.

@rhiaro @sl007 @bengo I conclude that @rhiaro does not want to be involved. And she is free to do so. Not being involved is not yet blocking things, so let's see if there is sufficient support and take up the work with those willing to contribute.

@rigo @rhiaro @bengo [[Well, I was astonished that it was a *public* post while (of course), I summed up our yesterday meeting in a *private* post.Anyway, let's continue Public (you nearly don't notice the difference in the mastodon UI anyway ;) :]]Yes, I agree, though it makes me sad. - Cause all the people ask questions to me which I can't answer cause I did not write the specs. - And the people complain about the broken links but nobody of the group has access to the https://activitypub.rocks domain (4 different people wrote directly before since 4 years, and 2 of them are kicked out yet).We wonder if the sources for the Test Suite from the specs. still exist.But one of newer validators is https://github.com/yuforium/activity-streams-validator And the author @cpmoser did also attend all the last meetings; so Chris Moser: Can we make a virtual session about the validator at https://fedi.camp ? CFP https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/fedicamp-2022-call-for-proposals/2510 I would help, we could even use redaktor widgets. To make it a new official validator.
