A year with password manager bitwardenI moved from 1Password to @bitwarden almost exactly a year ago, and I've written up my thoughts.tl;dr. I am a fan... mostly.https://neilzone.co.uk/2022/07/a-year-with-password-manager-bitwarden(I am using the self-hosted version; most of this will also be relevant to the bitwarden-hosted vault.)

@neil Thanks for the feedback! Offline editing is on the roadmap, so stay tuned! The team is also working on Bitwarden LIte for running on Raspberry Pi etc..Regarding having 2 licenses active, your Family plan includes premium for individual users, so you can safely remove the premium one.Regarding the snap image, I've passed the feedback along to the team. Thanks for your support and keep the feedback coming 👍

@neil @bitwarden thanks for this. Am using it on my deGoogled Graphene Pixel (non-primary device). The SSH key support for 1Password is just heaven-sent if you have remote servers to access.

@rpf I haven't looked to see if @bitwarden has a particular tool for this (although obviously it can store the password to a key). Can one use .ssh/config file options in conjunction with keys in 1Password?

@neil Yes, I have it setup on my Mac - 1Password authenticates using my fingerprint before it connects.

@rpf And it takes config options from ~/.ssh/config ? If so, I have definite feature envy.

@rpf That is really clever! I’d love the @bitwarden to offer something like that, as I rely so heavily on my config file.

@bitwarden thanks for replying. Got a question -- if I will self-host, do I need to purchase annual license to host it for my family of >5?

@bitwardenI know I am being really fussy, but perhaps as a FOSS-centric security / privacy business, this won't sound crazy: do you have an option which isn't a Google form, please? @rpf
