       I worked on a year-long project at work & got a nice recognition a few weeks ago, which came with a gift card $ amount. But you must spend the money in the catalog of the prize management firm. You can't get things like gasoline cards, which would really help me right now. Nope. Handbags, sporting goods, clothing. I need those things like I need a hole in my head. I'll probably end up seeing if I can give the prize to charity.

       @Jorah That's so frustrating.  Boeing used to do that (maybe still does), and all the goods were Boeing-branded.  By the time I left, I'd ended up with 3 very nice long-sleeve shirts with the Boeing logo embroidered on them, which I only wore to work.Oh, and I have a desk clock with the logo on it.  I have a second desk clock with the logo and the name of a project, but I didn't choose that.

       @CarlCravens Thankfully, Wells doesn't do that. I don't look great in solid red & yellow.
