we can only hope but I fully expect this to be happening all over. Those steep into the indoctrination process forget what it's like to be human, they've purged their memories of normality to the point that only carefully constructed and programmed responses remain. Showing the same stimuli that result in this professor scoffing and rolling his eyes with righteous indignation, like a "black people cause a much greater amount of crime than white people" doesn't hit the unconditioned the same. Instead they think, "well duh, yeah, it's not the best sounding fact, but it's the truth. So..." He lacks any kind of empathy, so his hamfisted approach to conveying the evil wrongness of the statement comes off as weak, and ineffectual, based entirely on "well it's wrong 'cause it's wrong, and you shouldn't even ask, you should just know that it's wrong and you might be a bad person if you entertain this in your brain for even a second!"

@KateMoss1 If you don't believe it, you probably didn't go to college recently. I had a trans professor that made us watch clips of his surgery (though it was TECHNICALLY extra credit, which we all needed because if you missed the 2 hour class once you'd lose a bunch of participation points) and answer homework packet questions about how it worked that showed off the resulting neovagina as - and I'm quoting ver batim here - "It's literally no different in any way from any other vagina. You players in here have guaranteed slept with at least one trans woman and you didnt. Even. Know it." There are a lot of professors out there, and very scant oversight for those in a protected class. That class of mine was a mandatory diversity credit for the major, in a supposedly "conservative" and "traditional" area, and that freak did everything he could to break down the teens and attack them on their grounds. No one complained, what good would it do when he was hired by the dean to specifically provide such a "diverse perspective"? You can think it doesn't, but we've already seen powerpoints throughout the trump era going over /pol memes, as well as homework assignments form the do-gooder gen X professors telling students to go on 4chan and "correct misinformation".

@KateMoss1 I cannot describe how different the US is in only a couple years. When I came back, it was a more severe culture shift than it would be going from Germany to Texas in years past. The advent of phones in every pocket and a high-tempo propaganda campaign from anyone with a policy interest led to phenomenally fast evolution in culture. Americans by and large don't have very deep philosophical roots, following whatever is most emotionally resonant in the moment, so they're a prime target to receive updated beliefs month to month as the advertisers hone their messaging for max efficacy.
