       The best arrangement of The Carpenters' "Close to You" is the one from the surrealist fantasy film Mirrormask.In the protagonist's dreamworld, she's given an Evil Makeover by royal clockwork dolls that sing to her while applying her makeup and dressing her in new (evil!) clothes.I don't think there is a musical number in cinema that has had such a lasting impact on us as that one.
