@Gina What %age of you is serious?Prolly too far south for me, but apart from that, something like that actually sounds pretty appealing ... and not just to visit. Maybe the "winter" half of a twice-yearly nomadic-migration.For Internet, I would suggest a village-wide mesh network, with a two-ISP redundant backbone ... maybe a top local traditional ISP, plus a Starlink router.

@honiden @Gina Our small town/village in the Sicilian wine country got fiber in 2020. Italy actually has more high-speed Internet on the countryside than e.g. Germany.

@Gina it is my home country and my family lives here, so it would be train/bus ride distance to visit. Plus, I know that there are quite a few villages getting optic fiber connections (including mine) so remote work would be totally fine now!
