@u0421793 @Raspberry_Pi You're spot on about seeing something suddenly without expecting it.If a butcher posts pictures of raw carved up carcasses it is to be expected and if I don't like it I don't have to follow them.If someone likes posting about their dinner I can also fully understand that they don't want to blur all their pictures.However, if I follow the manufacturer of the best-selling British computer, with a reach of nearly 30k people, I don't necessarily expect to see this. 🤷

@slightlyflightyone May I add that #DietPi is a great OS to get set up quickly on most of these ⬆️ platforms (and many others) with one-click installs for tons of popular software.Their list of software includes: @homeassistant, @Kodi, @octoprint, @nodered, #Pihole, #WordPress and tons more.https://dietpi.com/ NB: I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just a very happy user. Also, I haven't tried any of the above hardware yet, as I used to be a #RaspberyPi fanboy until recently.

I finally took apart my DIY lo-fi (PT2399-based) MIDI-syncable delay, as @ishotjr was asking about a writeup at the Make music hangout & nerdout.Unfortunately I didn't actually get round to figuring out what exactly I did when I built it in 2021.Instead I thought it'd be great to add an OLED screen and a pot to be able to display the MIDI clock bpm and to choose the delay interval (which was hardcoded in v1).And then I had to try it out, instead of documenting anything, right? A slow🧵 1/x
