       Upgraded the #Lunchbox to a 13.5T brushless motor and promptly broke one of the rear suspension hinge spring things 😅. Looks like I might have a 5th shock mod in my future.#Tamiya #CW01 #RCCars

       The extra torque and power of this new motor makes it possible to do much longer wheelies and to also be able to do a wheelie when already rolling. About 3000KV seems to be good for this machine: it's a bump up in speed over the stock Mabuchi RS540 (~2600KV?) without making it impossible to control.

       I designed and printed a simple adaptor for these nice and cheap aluminum servo horns. It also increases the overall length of the horn by almost 10mm, so the steering angle is much improved!#Tamiya #Lunchbox #CW01 #RC #RCCars

       De-chrome-ing the #Lunchbox 's front grille (and rear bumper) so I can paint them black. It should be a nice contrast with the fluorescent yellow on the body.#Tamiya #RC #RCCars

       Pretty soon after installing the upgraded motor, I noticed it was getting hard for the #Lunchbox to do wheelies. At the time, I blamed it on switching to Li-Fe batteries.Well, I finally glued the back tires to the rims and holy guacamole, does it do backflips on command. (You were right @MacLemon 😅)#RCCars
