@eldang I KNOW RIGHT?Until today I was the only weirdo I knew who planted chives in their front yard because they look pretty, and they are about the first thing to bloom and add some colour to the place.

@eldang my chives started that way but they seeded out one year and I ended up with entirely too many each year to actually use as food and they are so pretty I moved some to the front yard and so now here I am :blobtonguewink:

@eldang I also planted saskatoon bushes by my front door because they make pretty flowers and now they are big and make many flowers and berries...and like every day for 2 months or so after work I'm like"oh hello berries" :blobaww: nomnomnom before I even get into the house pretty food plants are kind of a thing for me I guess I dunno

@msh We kept a big unkempt rosemary from the previous owners of this house. Today it is covered in blue flowers and small iridescent bees. I'm not quite munching on it on the way into the house, but stopping to watch for a while is an absolute joy.
