@dissociativity I mean even very low res stuff requires having some art skillz since it's an aesthetic unto itself, and you need to know how to use stuff like Blender if you're making your own 3D assets

@Arcana there are game engines for Common Lisp and I'm sure I could learn whatever stuff I'd need to know that is specific to gamedev. That part of it feels way more achievable since I wouldn't need to learn an entirely new skill. And I have several game ideas lol

@nyx I have an RTX 2060 and am moving towards a RX5700, and yet my primary genre of game is roguelike with low res tilesets or ascii (it's okay you can mine while playing these with no consequences to gameplay)
