       @solene hi! i tried to run openbsd on my main pc and i noticed a weird thing. it seems that it doesn't detect all the fans and after some time the machine heats up quickly. how do i debug these kind of things?for comparison, on linux the very same machine is never warmer than 40°C (the die temperature), but on openbsd it heats up until 62°C when pretty much nothing is happening (load averages are like 0.05 max).

       @la_ninpre I have a Thinkpad T420 with intel gpu and I've never had issues 🤷‍♂️

       @nerdtronics i'm not surprized that thinkpad is working fine, considering that pretty much all openbsd developers are using them :D

       @la_ninpre Yeah, with BSD hardware is hit and miss, I was going to suggest making sure your hardware acceleration is being used because some ports with just use the CPU to render and that will heat up the box.
