       Is there a #Fediverse version of Patreon, Ko-fi, or Kickstarter?Like, I'm imagining a way to self-host payment portals for creators, but with the discovery capabilities of the Fediverse.I'm new to the Fediverse and not sure what's out there for things like this.

       @vkc Last I looked it was https://liberapay.com/ which isnt self hosted but is open source and non profit.  Otherwise its something like add a paypal button/link.  Quite a few instances use patreon or ko-fi.

       @vkc @t54r4n1 the biggest hurdle i could see with that is having to rely on something like stripe to process credit cardsof course you could accept crypto but that comes with the downside of it being... crypto

       @reese @vkc @t54r4n1 Im not a fan of cryptos, but I've always wondered if a stable coin tied to the u.s dollar would be an option 🤔Although, you'd still have to load your wallet somehow with a card or connect your bank.But I wonder if it could be a way to avoid paying transaction fees to the current payment processors.
