       I don't care about twitter because I've never been on it. I imagine most of the people there will stay there. I kinda hope they do because if they all come to the fedi, the fedi will become the dumpster fire that twitter is/was.I wish Elon and all the twitter fans well. Hope they enjoy it over there. I'm more worried about the fedi than I am about twitter. Let's have a good times, positive party here.

       @Tay0 If Twitter is a very noisy Football stadium, Mastodon is that cozy Pub. I've seen large influx of users to Mastodon before but most people left pretty fast because they weren't looking for that cozy Pub.

       @ericbuijs @Tay0 back in the late 90s, someone once did a comparison of The WeLL and the broader internet as a comparison between Sausalito (which was still a relatively sleepy town back then) and San Francisco.  Mastodon vs twitter seems like that today.
