       Testing out the new Official Mastodon client on Android. It's pretty decent. The UI is nice, but I really miss my Local timeline. For someone who doesn't care about Local, this could be a very nice client to get them started. I won't be using it going forward, but many of my needs are rather niche as a admin of an instance where I handle reports and account approvals among other things. I don't really know of a client that does that well at this point, so I'll be sticking to the PWA.

       @mike I think for it's target audience (non-technical twitter users) it's a pretty decent choice.

       @mike Agreed, I never use the federated timeline, but I miss the local timeline in the iOS app. My instance is small, but it feels silly following everyone on it when I could just use the PWA.

       @mike In the latest iOS beta there is a discovery tab which brings back some of the local timeline.

       @mike I never understand native apps when the website works (and looks) so good on the phone. That’s one less app I need to download.

       @gray Yep. I have it on my phone too. I don't really use it for the same reasons I won't use the Official app, but it's a great client in general.@Tusky
