Librewolf is an independent fork of Firefox, with the primary goals of privacy, security and user freedom. It is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through their privacy and security oriented settings and patches. @chriswere I think the #Vivaldi team share a lot of the same beliefs and values that the techs crowd are looking for. But they made their browser based on Chromium - and that puts some people off. 🤔

@rsolva @chriswere They are trying to operate as a commercial company, not a non-profit. When you’re as small as they are, open-source isn’t always beneficial to you.
