It is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through their privacy and security oriented settings and patches.        @chriswere I think the #Vivaldi team share a lot of the same beliefs and values that the techs crowd are looking for. But they made their browser based on Chromium - and that puts some people off. 🤔

       @rsolva @chriswere They are trying to operate as a commercial company, not a non-profit. When you’re as small as they are, open-source isn’t always beneficial to you.
