without a time machine to see the future, how does anyone know that nuclear waste disposal methods are safe? iirc, there's a concrete dome over Bakini Atoll which is now cracking, and it's about 60-some years old.nuclear fuel has a half-life much longer than 60 years, thousands of years even. our current written languages may be extinct by the time those disposal sites pose no harm to anyone.please, explain how anyone knows this is safe.

@crashglasshouses Do you want an answer to this question, or are you just ranting? Because I can and will provide one, as well as a broader philosophical background for why I believe that both nuclear energy and space travel are integral to the future of humanity, if that word "future" means anything.
