@Thais21 @Hollahollara @polarisera I've been much more ok with the dumbness of flags when I realized that it was just a typical child thing to come up with. I remember rolling my eyes at my classmates in middle school sending each other these asslong lists of personal questions they delighted to fill. Well who is on tumblr coming up with these moronic flags? The same crowd, in a different generation. It sure is a bit weird to see flags all over the place now, but it's almost weirder to even interact with them as an adult in any capacity — seems more like something to ignore, really. Child herd shite.

It was also a treat when she opened the cabinet and let us play with them when we visited. Over the years many got chipped and a few had fatal accidents! However, they were much loved and my sister and I told my Dad to collect them for us when he went to clear her house.Like the Hitler babies they had mysteriously vanished and we never did find out who took them.

It included an onion pot a bit like the one in the picture. Gran always said the miserable face reminded her of Grandad! 😂 To be fair to my Grandad he was great to his grandkids. He was a lots of fun but he did always get up and need time to himself until after his breakfast and some time out in his shed. He was not a morning person.
