       Who came up with this bullshit that we have www.somewebsite.com instead of just somewebsite.com, like wtf I've never seen such an unnecessary bullshit people standard and it messes up all regexes that only want to check for the base domain of some big tech website because now you also gotta check for www.somewebsite.com

       @metalune www means it's on the web, and is not an intranet site, for our company website, if you're inside of the net is something else than the web site, it would make more sense to special case internal sites though, I agree there.

       @getimiskon @metalune I hate to tell you this, but the internet is not just the world wide web (http).Having the www. means you can put the web server on a different host if you want to (without messing about with PAT).
