The upcoming version of Tusker will support the Trending Posts and Links features introduced in Mastodon 3.5. It will not, however, support the "For you" account suggestions. I feel that personalized suggestions come too close to the sort of echo-chamber inducing patterns Facebook and Twitter use.

The new version also includes a digital wellness preference to completely hide the Discover features (trending posts/hashtags/links and the profile directory) for if you find yourself getting unduly sucked in or simply don't want to see them.

@shadowfacts I’ve been wondering if you plan to support a way to indicate that a post has a thread/replies in the timeline UI? Using the TestFlight and have missed that from other clients.

@mcg I do plan to, but I've yet to come up with a better UI for it than mastodon's (bad) 0/1/1+ indicator
