@shadowfacts I’ve been wondering if you plan to support a way to indicate that a post has a thread/replies in the timeline UI? Using the TestFlight and have missed that from other clients.

@shadowfacts The best part is no notice of what is about to be updated so you can “nope” out. So many of our devs have broken their setups updating some innocuous package and the world updates. I switched to Nix recently due to this and a few other reasons.

@shadowfacts Installation has gotten a lot easier now, but still takes some time to learn all the parts. I built out my brew setup and dotfiles with Home-Manager as I was migrating to Nix. Definitely worth considering.

@chidgey @bigzaphod Timeline holding is one of my biggest issues with current fedi clients and why I use Metatext. What's the point of a time oriented and "algorithm" free feed, if you keep loosing your place? AFAIK Mastodon has "tweet marker" like functionality but I don't think it uses it very well.
