@Spec @Duine @TurboNormie From my experience, the oldest GenXers, the 50-55 crowd, are largely indistinguishable from boomers and are pretty much unreachable at this point. The ones in their 40s and below aren't as far gone. The ones I know personally are all "our guys", in fact.

@BobsonDugnuttHB @Spec @Duine Boomers are very clearly a generational cohort but the 1945-1975 crowd also kind of became their own thing as they've aged. They grew up in a very similar set of economic circumstances where, generally, everything always got better except for that hairy half a decade after Ford. They liken the post-08 world to that setback because they got back on their feet without noticing no one else has.

@Duine @TurboNormie As a GenXer, this isn't exactly true. GenX are the in-between generation. We're young enough to be able to understand and utilize modern technology, unlike Boomers. But we're also old enough to remember the pre-internet Before Times. I think Millennials and Zoomers are both dorks, but I absolutely fucking despise Boomers in their current state.
