       @alyssawitchcraft Culture is not a harmful construct, it's an important concept in anthropology, a field with a strong tendency to be against current cultural biases and constructs.Could you clarify what you mean by "pedophile culture"? Do you just mean artistic works and symbols?

       @alyssawitchcraft Also, I was writing this before you sent this reply:"To be clear, my critique is that 1) the category 'pedophiles' (or 'bisexual') includes many individuals of different cultures and context, many of whom do not share a culture, 2) there's a further assumption that there's some uniform traits associated with the orientation which seems false when looking at other cultures.The only thing current childlovers necessarily share with one another is a marginalized social position, and this also varies greatly between individuals; e.g., think of the difference between someone who conforms and doesnt care much for their differing orientation, versus someone who is incarcerated, and as well of the great differences in beliefs between different people defined as childlovers."
