@tsumi No though, because that’ll come back to haunt them later. Imagine being a child and knowing that potentially every picture someone posts of you is being used for the sexual pleasure of a stranger? That would absolutely fuck up someone’s view of themselves and lead to a slew of paranoia and body image issues, considering you’ve just told the child you’re getting off on them being in an innocent position fully clothed - you’d absolutely worry in every situation that someone somewhere is getting off to it, even if they can’t conceptualise that at the time. Don’t underestimate what children can understand and the effects it can have on them

@tsumi Throwing psychiatric terms at an argument isn’t validating it. Also I don’t take your point. If someone says “I’m masturbating to you fully clothed in random situations without your knowledge” and you really think someone needs preexisting issues to be worried and upset about it, then that’s your problem. And masturbation is negative to children. I don’t give a shit about any argument against that - yes in a hypothetical world where children are educated ect ect that may not be the case, but Nate is doing that to real pictures of real children right now and that’s not acceptable. Just because you might not have an issue with it, doesn’t mean that children socialised from birth to see sexual activity as negative won’t, and to discredit that just shows you literally haven’t been around any actual children for a while

But at least I’m acknowledging that and didn’t make a post about wanking to pictures of real life kids and acting like the authority is the issue there. Your argument holds as little weight as everyone else’s, but I agree with you on certain points about education ect.

You are genuinely hilarious though and I do hope you realise that I’m attempting to sound academic you just sound like a 14 year old with a thesaurus and too much free time. My standpoint has very little to do with morals, but with what I view as an inherent lack of respect. However I’ve acknowledged several times that this is a philosophical argument - I’m not expecting people to agree, because each individual will have their own viewpoint on what’s deemed acceptable, but I’m allowed to communicate my anger at making a situation like that public, especially under the facade of a pro morality/pro children’s rights group.I’m capable of making a subjective argument and acknowledging that, but I’m also allowed to communicate my frustration at what I see as hypocritical and self serving behaviour. I don’t think you understand what a logical fallacy is, or how it serves within a sociological argument. I’ve already said I don’t want to work on hypotheticals so as to remove me from subjectivity as far as possible. Maybe substantiate your own point and go and learn some actual argumentative skills rather than making reactionary value judgements based on a small section of a larger argument.
