Demisexuality is pure bs. It's absolutely fine and a sign of a healthy self-image to want to feel secure and appreciated in someone's presence before having sex with them. Libfems think they're so inclusive with their sexualities, but they've adapted to patriarchal ideas about sexuality pretty quickly. If demisexuality is some kind of weird flex you need to explain like you're outing yourself as a fetishist then the norm (for which there is no term I'm aware of) is to feel sexually attracted to people without the slightest connection whatsoever. This may be true for men who are socialized to be emotionally handicapped and have no idea what it means to feel close to someone anyway, but I wouldn't advice to set up those norms based on their incompetence. Not saying there aren't any women around who just like to fuck so much they don't care about personality. But since it's evidently less likely for women to orgasm the first time you get intimate with a guy it's at least somewhat in your own interest to invest some time with the other person. Is this demisexuality? No, it just means you're not willing to be a living masturbation enhancer for the other person and expect some basic decency.Men can go f--k themselves with these labels, women don't need to alienate themselves or apologize for not offering three gaping holes at any time like they expect women with a "normal sexuality" to.
