@ibrokemypie Get something with hotswap sockets so you could change the switches later, and qmk firmware so you can reprogram the layout whenever you want (even if you don't think you'll care about changing the layout now, you might in 2-5 years).65% isn't a size I've ever personally been interested in, but there's the NK65 from Novelkeys.https://novelkeys.com/collections/keyboardsLooks like their aluminum one is sold out at the moment but planned to be restocked soon. For switches, I recommend Boba. They are "silent tactile" and actually feel pretty good. I don't use them in a full keyboard right now, but I bought a bunch for a future build and have played with them a bit.https://ringerkeys.com/products/gazzew-boba-u4-silent-tactile-switches?variant=32825570033746I'm not necessarily recommending this specific site for boba switches, you can find them a few places, but I thought I should link something so you know what to look for.As for never thinking about replacing it, that's a big ask, imo. Your tastes will probably change over time or you'll get curious about other stuff probably. My first mech like a decade ago or more was a TKL/80% with cherry mx blues, then I got a 60% (Pok3r) with cherry mx greens that I used for many years, now I have a Pinky4 (split, ergonomic, columnar stagger) that I built last year and it's my favorite keyboard I've ever used. It's also my first keyboard that's hotswap or has qmk support, so I at least won't ever have to change keyboards over the switches or desolder 60+ switches.
