       I wonder how much money Google and other ad companies have made off of me just because I click on a link I didn't mean to because the page updated right when I was going to click on something else.

       @bob That annoys me. I don't want those people making a nickel off me, let alone $5. That's about $5 too much, and since they're gathering MY information without MY permission, they should be paying ME for that bare minimum.

       @mike As someone who advertises online, I know I pay a lot for lazy customers who click the ad instead of going to my webpage or dialing my phone number themselves.

       @mike Not much, probably. Display ads are _usually_ purchased per thousand impressions and not per click.
