       I worked all day and to 2AM to get this workingWindows 7 on the PVM240p through 640i (VGA to RGBS via Extron Sync converter) with CRT_Emudriver (a hacked ATI driver with 15khz support)

       This is just using an Extron Sync converter, practically all it's doing is tying the Horizontal and Vertical lines into one sync line. Pure analog.

       @penny Holy shit this looks so good, I should try to either get the CRT I got from a friend working or get a working one...speaking of which, the TV used to work when he gave it to me but then I kinda put it in the middle of the floor and kept tripping over it (i.e. kicking it) and now it won't turn on anymore, is there anything I can do about that or did I kick it to death? 😅

       @hazelnot I mean I bet a resistor or something has flexed off the board!I'm personally not too terrified of getting into them, all of the 8bit guy type channels do it and all those guys are still alive so it can't be that bad

       @penny I'm very jealous. Is there any tutorial you could link that explains everything, which components to buy, etc.? You mentioned a hacked ATI driver, so it only works on some hardware?I still have no idea how to go about this. It's something I'd like to have someday, but it all seems so daunting, hence why I was hoping the OSSC Pro, when it releases, would make it really simple.#games #gaming #technology #hardware
