@0xtr @FallenFadedLostItAll i read in the news once that Norway and Scandinavia at large is a popular testing ground for many things.you don’t launch a car unless you’ve test driven it in Norway first. Norway has a good road network but is also rough in terms of the climate. if your car can’t withstand Norway, it can’t withstand winter.and if you’re doing radio stuff like cellphones, Norway’s a good testing ground because it’s got lots of mountains (obstacles to radio signals) so if your radio device can function under those conditions, it’s a good radio device.and if you wanna test out food for the whitest audience possible, Norway/Scandinavia is good for that. if the Scandinavians don’t like it, white people in general will not like it.

@0xtr @FallenFadedLostItAll we sometimes get products before the Americans do because it was test-launched here.in some cases, these products appeal to us but not to the Americans.the soda drink Surge was launched by the Coca Cola company and was a failure in America but remains a hit here in Norway under the name Urge.
