@volpeon I'm struggling to find the use for this much RAM outside of running games on it. But I think that's exactly why that amount keeps going up

@NeonPurpleStar I don't deny that, but my current phone has 3 times less this amount and works just fine. It still sounds like a high amount just for a phone

@solidsanek Well, I will for once talk somewhat seriously.It just really bugs me how disposable phones are today. They just throw higher numbers of ram or megapixels or number of cameras to wow us. The sad reality is that the software support on most of these arm boards is for one kernel version and that’s it.They are just meant to end up in a landfill.

@NeonPurpleStar I wish it was easy again to replace batteries on phones, because at this point performances don't matter as much unless you play games on it imo

@solidsanekYes, battery replacement is just as important.Anyway, I don’t want to rant too much. I guess that’s just how the phone world is right now. If I dwell too far on issues like this I end up a grumpy person myself. I try to live by what I love instead of what I hate, and thus it is better to just focus on other stuff, like laptops or math, or skirts.
