       @Chronic-Yonic Considering they were upset that a stranger “disciplined” their kid, it’s a fairly sure bet they’d be livid if a stranger “caused” any harm to come to their kid. I habitually sit as far from children as I can when I’m eating out, precisely because I don’t trust parents to keep their offspring under control. I can’t even stand kids staring, let alone being noisy. Running around would be beyond the pale as far as I’m concerned. @HebrideanHecate

       @Peony20 I don’t care, I hate it anyway. And it’s in general bad manners and something parents ought to address whenever they catch it. Just like any bad manners. It certainly should not be acceptable for a kid to turn around in their seat so they can gawk at length at someone sitting behind them in a restaurant. @Chronic-Yonic @HebrideanHecate

Little kids stare - they can't help it and under a certain age there's no way you can teach them not to. There's a world of adults who do shitty things who do know better.
