I am gearing up to respond to the UK government's consultation on 'Banning conversion therapy', which is supposed to end at 11.45pm on Friday. So far I have not been able to find a definition of conversion therapy anywhere in the documents. Can anyone tell me whether there is an official definition, and if so, where I should look? Thanks.

@NightCrow Interesting that Canada has just passed its anti-conversion therapy bill and yet there is no copy of the bill yet extant! All I can find is a first reading and it's awfully poorly written and incomplete, consisting largely of changing other legislation. No wonder they don't want the public to see the actual bills. Makes it look like the bill is actually anti-child pron. https://www.parl.ca/DocumentViewer/en/44-1/bill/C-4/first-readingSo I can't help but think these are multi-purpose omnibus type bills. Also confusing is the fact that some other Bill having to do with C-19 is also called Bill C-4. Deliberate?

@NightCrow One really wonders if it's 'conversion therapy' they are so concerned about - or perhaps they'd like to lock up more reasonable health care providers? Why the massive rush?

@NightCrow @LaylaAlexandrovna I would definitely get my kids out of the indoctinating public school camps (if I had kids). This is so scary for our next generation especially with mental health issues on the rise due to the government restrictions.I'm sad for this country...

@LaylaAlexandrovna @NightCrow You would have to ask the Puppet Masters. I think it’s probably something to do with the Denton’s strategy: hook it to another cause, keep it obscure, stifle public discussion, make it uncomfortable for politicians to oppose it. Would our politicians care if they knew they were being manipulated in unison with other politicians in many other countries? Would anyone care if they knew that not one comma of the bill was changed in response to input from thousands of concerned and informed citizens?
