       Always strange to me when I see people bitching about twitter (while on twitter), yet they don’t care to hear about alternatives like mastodon. It’s like they keep expecting twitter to be something it’s not, but the idea of leaving or even simply trying something else just doesn’t compute.

       @Mogami It’s just so strange to me that someone can be so dissatisfied with a product but keep coming back to it. I hesitate to call it gaslighting, but have to admit it’s a pretty nice setup twitter and FB have contrived for themselves where they’re considered the only viable social platforms.

       @Mogami Yea that’s probably the more accurate statement. And “creators” are even more obtuse about trying something new because they might lose followers. Which I guess I understand if you’ve put a lot of work into an account so idk 🤷‍♀️ It’s not like I have a good solution either…
