@watch4thedropThe only difference I can see is the amount of oil. Waffle batter contains more. Either way some suck and some are more tasty. @prchrskd @EarlThePearls

@watch4thedrop Waffle batter typically has oil or melted butter in the recipe. Without it, the batter will stick to the waffle iron

@Debradelai @watch4thedrop If you want your waffle to be Belgian style, whip the egg whites to stiff peaks and fold in.

@watch4thedrop Not a stupid question Drop, it's how we learn... I have always been sincerely impressed by the fact that your desire to learn something is greater than someone else's opinion of what you may not yet know... a great quality

@MEMA haha thanks. I had a friend back in the day that just came from beijing and his english was pretty bad. He would say things with a bad accent or incorrect and we would troll him about it. he never cared and just kept speaking it and learning more. Nowadays, he's pretty fluent.

@watch4thedrop Pretty much, though pancake batter is usually thinner, so it will spread. You can make both with Bisquik.

@watch4thedrop Have had an Oster Belgian waffle maker for @ 30 years. Don’t know if they still make them anymore but still is working great.Get a good, basic Betty Crocker cookbook and use butter in the waffle recipe. A family favorite!
