       Having not torrented anything in a long time, I came across a pretty annoying thing in #ThePirateBay today: some torrents' hashes are turned into a string of zeroes despite being listed and supposedly with many seeders. Needless to say, they don't download in this state.I can only believe that this is consequence of takedown requests issued to the site. First they removed the .torrent files so as to claim they didn't "host" anything, and now they had to mess with the magnet URIsAlternatives?

       @kzimmermann qBittorrent has an embedded search tab, where some popular web search engines are ready to roll, plus you can add whatever you need. Results are usually pretty good. ;)

       @sakkara nice suggestion, I was wondering whether I should switch my torrent client instead. I usually just roll with #Transmission (I think it's the default in most distros?) or #aria2c in the command-line.Also perhaps a good time to ask the fediverse about any other quality command-line torrent clients?

       @kzimmermann Transmission has an awesome CLI client, I was using that myself before discovering the qBittorrent search engine, which is really a game changer... ;)
