       Not the modern rubber whoopee cushion design that was invented in the 1980s, but an ancient Roman equivalent that was basically just a whoopee cushion.The inventor's name was Elagabalus; she was a Roman Empress who was assassinated at the age of 18, possibly because of the whoopee cushion thing, but definitely because of the being trans thing.Historians argue against the legitimacy of historical records which describe Elagabalus as transgender because of course they do.
