Also trying: Fedora 35. My goal is to pick a Linux distro for my Framework laptop, which should be arriving on a shiny FedEx truck this morning.

@twylo my reform came with raw debian, wayland, and sway, and i ended up liking that a LOTsway makes me wonder why anyone uses gnome or the system76 thing

@robey The limiting factor on my Framework is the wifi card I've installed in it, which needs kernel 5.11 or higher. I'm sure I could just get that working on plain Debian without too much effort though. That said, I'm super pleased with how well Fedora 35 integrates with the Framework laptop, I'd recommend it to anyone who just wants an "install it and forget it" experience.

@twylo wifi on the reform worked right away, but it was really flaky for the first week or two because...there are 2 possible ways to configure your wifi AP, and if you install any tooling from both at the same time, they will FIGHT![aristocrats voice] "linux!"

@robey One drawback of the Framework laptop is that they target Windows primarily, Linux secondarily, so they ship an Intel M.2 wifi card that requires very new kernels to work properly. Of course, you're free to use any card you want, no need to buy theirs, and I should have done more research before picking it! But luckily it works just fine under Linux 5.14.
