@support_ex_offenders what country enabled you to be arrested for 'viewing csem'? That's not even a crime in the usa. Unless you mean you paid for it or downloaded it or got someone to send it to you directly, though I honestly suspect that you're simply lying.

@Zest @support_ex_offendersUnder US law, it’s impossible to view sexual media of children without being in possession of it, which is illegal. If you can see it on your computer, that means it has been downloaded onto your computer, even if it’s only been downloaded temporarily in order for you to view it on a webpage and you never actually save it to your storage.

@miamiautumn @support_ex_offenders Almost wishing this and the fact that loli/shota is technically child porn under usa law would simultaneously start suddenly getting strictly enforced so we could see the prison system just get absolutely flooded by everyone who's ever been on a website hosting lolisho.

@Zest @miamiautumn @support_ex_offenders it's not child porn under USA law, USA law only applies to drawings indistinguishable from real photos and depictions of real existing people.

@comrade_lecter @Zest @support_ex_offendersIt’s a legal grey area in the US and depends greatly on the state and even more greatly on the judge. People in the US have been sentenced for possessing non–realistic fictional sexual imagery, and US databases of illegal images include non–realistic fictional images as well.
