After the "hot reload" fiasco this week. I'm wondering if it's time to part ways with Visual Studio Code. IIt's hard because it's just so darn good, but at the same time I'm in no mood to have essential functionality removed from my editor.

Of course the other problem is finding an equivalent editor as a replacement, which is going to be hard.

Thinking I should step back and think about this for a bit. It's unclear with all the anti-Microsoft invective to see if this was a ham-handed mistake or if it signals a change in company strategy.

@rudolf My editor is highly customized. It's more a question of tracking down equivalent plugins/extensions and adjusting my workflows that is the big challenge.
