Thinking I should step back and think about this for a bit. It's unclear with all the anti-Microsoft invective to see if this was a ham-handed mistake or if it signals a change in company strategy.

@rudolf My editor is highly customized. It's more a question of tracking down equivalent plugins/extensions and adjusting my workflows that is the big challenge.

Looking for a replacement for VS Code would be loads easier if it weren't so darned good.

Moving all of your TOTP tokens from one service to another is not a quick task.

@bumbervevo LastPass to BitWarden. I was able to export my logins and passwords, but I don't see an option for the tokens.Which is just as well. I'd rather generate new tokens anyway.

Finally got all my passwords and TOTP tokens migrated to Bitwarden. 🎉 Now I just have to go through and rotate all my passwords. 😢

@joeligj12 The migration was from LastPass to Bitwarden. Now I need to go through and change all the passwords.

@mike Nice. Usually at that point I would be frantically trying to wrap things up.

TIL that you need to leave your old GPG keys in GitHub, otherwise it will mark all your old commits as "Unverified".

@kev I'll throw in an endorsement for Newsblur. It's open source, and they host it for you for a reasonable price. Docs say it's compatible with Reeder, but I can't confirm as I'm an Android user. ($36/year, whatever that is in GBP)https://newsblur.com

@xpil I did this last year and went with option D. My provider is Migadu, and they are a perfect option for low volumes of email. It requires a moderate level of knowledge around configuring SMTP, IMAP, and DNS. (MX records, etc.)

@mike @kev I would second Vivaldi. Disappointed that it's not fully open source, but it's been great so far for couple of weeks I've been using it.

@kev Since you liked the first half of the Mistborn story, I would highly recommend the second half.

@kev I ended up liking it better than the first trilogy. Imagine a Coinshot with steel bullets.

@kev Hmm. I think Marsh would be a favorite, followed closely by Sazed.

I've been using Vivaldi now for about a month or so. Trying to decide if I want to make the change permanent, or stick with Firefox. There's a lot of compelling features in Vivaldi, but I kind of miss Firefox's containers. Unfortunately Gecko isn't getting any faster/better.
