       An interesting aspect of "accountability/consequence culture" is how its proponents often use tactics and rationalizations that could also be associated to pathological abusers. Especially when it comes to using empathy to gaslight and bully people.This is illustrated in strange ways. Like when people harass artists who happen to be victims of sexual abuse because they draw loli/shota porn to cope with said abuse. Or people bullying  a trans person into suicide because they refused to denounce Dave Chapelle.
