This will be really interesting to follow: "Software Freedom Conservancy files right-to-repair lawsuit against Vizio Inc. for alleged GPL violations".It is the first time someone tries to enforce the GNU GPL from the users perspective and not as the copyright owner. @bjoern i fully expect the judge to laugh them out of court and deny standing but if they do manage to show standing this will be *fascinating*

@bjoernIntriguing to see Right to Repair advocacy move into law suits against tech companies. I'd love to see an antitrust action against Apple over their monopolization of the app market on iThings. Maybe as a way of getting US government to take the problem seriously, a RtR org in the US could purchase an iThing and sue Apple for limiting their choice of apps (eg no option to install GPL apps) by forcing them to use the Apple app store?
