@Radfemmery It's not something I've ever thought about specifically (I've always thought about policies/social action to combat these individual issues but not male perverse sexuality as a whole) but one of my concerns would be that even IF we had enough governmental control to do that, control never lasts. There really IS no such thing as total control, and the more someone tries to chase it, the harder they fall and the harder the resistance. I know it's naive but, a part of me still holds out for the hope that male humans can be raised without misogyny, and that we must be able to coexist without domination struggles... But I am a separatist as well and for the modern age I believe more in separatism, and getting as many women and girls out of male-dominated societies as possible and into their own independence.

@juneseed Men will always try to dominate and oppress women if we are not strongly united and do not control them

@juneseed Separatism can only work as a temporary solution. It is impossible for all women to separate indefinitely from men, so separatism is not the solution. Women's sexuality/sexual behavior is being controlled since the dawn of civilization! Control may not last forever but it is lasting for a long time for us and if we follow this logic, then nothing is worth controlling/making illegal cause at some point it could all end/be reverted

@Radfemmery "Since the dawn of civilization," I think that's why I've come more and more into primitivism as the only solution for women and girls as I've grown... I think there are a lot of parallels between the domination of women, of nature, and of animals. It's like men have always thought of women as nature: life-giving forces they don't understand (menstruation, childbirth, lactation) but seek to control, because they express their power in domination. If they can kill the forests and the life within, eradicating entire keystone species to not threaten their "man-made world" and particularly livestock, then they have control. The patriarchal world exists as domination, of nature to build their cities, of animals to feed them, and of women to expand them (through the birth of men, and raising them, and keeping the entire house afloat through free labor). I wonder that, if we really tore all of this (not so civilized) civilization down, the mentality which gets reinforced from it's existence would disappear. And civilization meaning the expansion of cities and cities meaning high-density populations where resources must be imported from surrounding areas. The existence of cities means war, to take resources from those on the outskirts to support those within, and it means labor, no longer working for direct benefit to yourself and your family but now working for external "value"... If men could accept and love the natural world, accept and love the animals within it, the cycles of life... I think they would do the same for women and girls. Again it must be naive but I can't believe that we evolved on this Earth to be at war with each other, that just doesn't make intuitive sense to me.

@juneseed @Radfemmery I've always thought that even if you don't do something bad then someone else certainly will. That's also my problem with anarchy. How long will people be satisfied with curbing their progress? But on the other hand we only have male history as an example, know only male patterns of behaviour when it comes to politics and social decisions, all based on violence and domination. Even the fact that "people" need to take more and more from the planet comes from men impregnating left and right without thinking of consequences which would not fly in a female society. Part of me instantly disapproves of the idea and thinks "but I like internet, how would we live without medical and scientific advances, and spending all day earning basic necessities sounds dreadful" but on the other hand I know that I think about satisfying the needs which were created by male civilization in the first place. Maybe there would be a different idea of happiness, good time and what constitutes a life worth living. Sorry I'm rambling. An interesting topic but not one which I thought often of.

@sleepwalker @juneseed Civilization means hierarchy and in all civilizations, men have always been on top. This may be interesting to you:https://www.haaretz.com/.premium-journey-to-where-fathers-mother-their-babies-1.5321284https://www.theguardian.com/society/2005/jun/15/childrensservices.familyandrelationships"There is a sexual division of labour in the Aka community - women, for example, are the primary caregivers," he says. "But, and this is crucial, there's a level of flexibility that's virtually unknown in our society. Aka fathers will slip into roles usually occupied by mothers without a second thought and without, more importantly, any loss of status - there's no stigma involved in the different jobs"I think it is kinda obvious that certain "basic" gender roles are not mere social constructs. Women will always be the primary caregivers. However, as the researcher noted, they are not 100% rigid all the time in all human societies. Also, If I remember correctly, Aka men spend more time with their children than western men. Apparently, these people are an example of an egalitarian society, or at least as egalitarian as we can get. Although of course not all hunter-gatherer societies are egalitarian, if I'm not mistaken, among one of their also primitive neighbours for example, men clearly dominate over women."Part of me instantly disapproves of the idea and thinks "but I like internet, how would we live without medical and scientific advances, and spending all day earning basic necessities sounds dreadful"Yeah, sometimes thats my problem with the idea too. A response to that that I see being made by primitivists and some anthropologists is that primitive people are happier and healthier in overal than civilized people, although they face great dangers, like predators. Medical advances are great on one hand, but on the other we now have an overpopulated world and mass environmental destruction. We have greater rates of certain diseases in comparison to primitive people, especially mental disorders. We are living under conditions that are unnatural for human being and that they argue have a negative effect on human behavior and mental health. https://theconversation.com/hunter-gatherers-live-nearly-as-long-as-we-do-but-with-limited-access-to-healthcare-104157https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2017/10/01/551018759/are-hunter-gatherers-the-happiest-humans-to-inhabit-earth

@sleepwalker @juneseed https://www.discovermagazine.com/planet-earth/the-worst-mistake-in-the-history-of-the-human-raceI don't know for sure if primitivism is the best for humans and more especifically for women. I don't know at what extend some accounts by anthropologists are biased or not. But I think it is an interesting subject. Most people don't even wonder whether or not we are better off than primitive people, everyone automatically assume we are. Some reports on primitive societies is now making me question this

@Radfemmery @juneseed @sleepwalker the real greater mistake was teaching males how to verbally communicate their thoughts to each other that was a death sentence for billions of women and girls right across the globe
